- Updated the GB18030 converter (
gb18030_mbtowc,gb18030_wctomb) to map 25 characters to code points that have been to Unicode since 2000, rather than to code points in the Private Use Area. - Updated the BIG5-HKSCS converter. The old BIG5-HKSCS converter is still available as BIG5-HKSCS:2004 (
big5hkscs2004_mbtowc,big5hkscs2004_wctomb,big5hkscs2004_reset,normal_flushwc). A new converter BIG5-HKSCS:2008 is added (big5hkscs2008_mbtowc,big5hkscs2008_wctomb,big5hkscs2008_reset,normal_flushwc). - Fixed a small bug in the CP1258 converter (
cp1258_mbtowc,cp1258_wctomb,normal_flushwc). - Added CP1131 converter (
cp1131_mbtowc,cp1131_wctomb). - Added RK1048 converter (
rk1048_mbtowc,rk1048_wctomb). - Upgraded EUC-KR (
euc_kr_mbtowc,euc_kr_wctomb) and JOHAB (johab_mbtowc,johab_wctomb) to include the Korean postal code sign.

- Updated the BIG5-HKSCS converter. The old BIG5-HKSCS converter is renamed to BIG5-HKSCS:1999 and updated to Unicode 4. New converters BIG5-HKSCS:2001 and BIG5-HKSCS:2004 are added. BIG5-HKSCS is now an alias for BIG5-HKSCS:2004.
